The student selection is made by representatives of the degree programme and admission services based on the academic qualifications shown in the application documents.
Minimum GPA for secondary school must be equivalent to 2,5/5. When counting the unrounded GPA (calculated to two decimal points) the subjects with numeric grade value are taken into account.
Applicants will be ranked according to an admission score that is calculated based on their existing degree, proficiency in the English language and other supporting factors. Other supporting factors for the full-time and part-time programmes are listed below. An admission score will be calculated for all eligible applicants who meet the minimum requirements.
In addition to degree certificate, applicants need to upload a transcript of records with the degree scale to their application.
International Business full-time
Admission points (maximum 75 points) are given as follows in these categories:
* Academic success maximum 40 points
- English language grade
- Mathematics grade
- GPA
* English language skills maximum 10 points
- Higher than B2 level in European Framework (equivalent to IELTS 7.0 or more) or exemption of language requirements
* Other supporting factors 25 points
- Wider mathematical studies in secondary school
- Single business courses from secondary school or university, not full degree
- Secondary school degree not older than 4 years
- No prior higher education degree
All applicants admitted on the basis of their previous school performance must provide proof of their English language skills with one of the documents mentioned below. If you have one of the following documents, please upload a copy of it to the application:
- upper secondary school certificate or higher education degree completed in an EU/EEA-country. The English language grade in the certificate must be better than the average of the degree scale.
- upper secondary school certificate or higher education degree completed in English in an EU/EEA-country, Great Britain, United States, Canada, Australia or New Zealand
- International Baccalaureate completed in English
- AICE degree completed in Finland
- IELTS academic level, overall score 6,5
- TOEFL iBT score 87
- Pearson test of English, Academic minimum score 59
- iTEP, Academic-Plus 3,9
- Cambridge C2 Proficiency (Certificate of Proficiency in English) overall Cambridge English Scale score 176
- Cambridge C1 Advanced (Certificate in Advanced English) overall Cambridge English Scale score of 176
- National Certificate of Language Proficiency skills level 4 in all parts of the test (speaking, listening comprehension, writing and reading comprehension)
- International Baccalaureate diploma: grade 4 in higher level English
- European Baccalaureate diploma: at least grade 7.00 in L2 -level English
- Deutsche Internationale Abitur (DIA) -diploma: at least grade 8 in advanced level English
